Ms. Rochelle Madrigal

Mrs. Madrigal is entering her 11th year in Edgewood ISD. She has taught elementary, middle and high school. Most recently, she taught Life Skills for 5 years before becoming a facilitator. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders and became certified to teach Special Education in 2007. Mrs. Madrigal's interest and passion in teaching Special Education was derived from her own family experience, as she has a sister who has significant cognitive disabilities.

It is her intent to prepare an individualized plan for each student by collaborating with case managers, teachers, administration and the most vital pieces- YOU, the parent/guardian and our student!

In her free time, she enjoys drinking a good cup of coffee, tending to her plants, upcycling/crafting with her Cricut, and traveling to New Orleans.

Ms. Jaclyn Resendez

I am the Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) and I am excited to start another school year at Wrenn Middle School. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Upon graduation from South San Antonio H.S., I graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in December 2000 with a B.A. in Psychology. I returned to OLLU for graduate school and received my Masters in School Psychology in May 2004. This year will be my 4th year at Wrenn and my 10th year with Edgewood ISD.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my beautiful son, working on projects I find on Pinterest, crafting, and reading. I am an avid reader and especially love a good mystery/thriller. Two of my favorite quotes pertaining to education are:

"Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or in the same way."

"Fair isn't everyone getting the same thing. Fair is everyone getting what they need in order to be successful."
