Mr. Matthew Ortiz
Social Worker
Hello! I am the Social Worker here at ET Wrenn Middle School. Students face many challenges that prevent them from being successful at school. As a result, they may have difficulty dealing with peers and adults, have truancy issues, and poor grades. In response to this, I work with students and families to give them the tools they need to be successful, not only at school, but in their personal lives. Various services I provide are:
- Individual counseling
- Small group counseling
- Referrals to community agencies for needed services and resources
- Mediation
- Student advocacy
- Crisis Intervention/Response
- Collaboration with teachers and administration
If you have any questions or concerns, please come see me.
We are so happy that you have decided to send your children to Wrenn!
