Mr. Matthew Ortiz

Social Worker

Hello! I am the Social Worker here at ET Wrenn Middle School. Students face many challenges that prevent them from being successful at school. As a result, they may have difficulty dealing with peers and adults, have truancy issues, and poor grades. In response to this, I work with students and families to give them the tools they need to be successful, not only at school, but in their personal lives. Various services I provide are:

  • Individual counseling
  • Small group counseling
  • Referrals to community agencies for needed services and resources
  • Mediation
  • Student advocacy
  • Crisis Intervention/Response
  • Collaboration with teachers and administration

If you have any questions or concerns, please come see me.

We are so happy that you have decided to send your children to Wrenn!

Ms. Hortencia De La Paz
